Morganite is a wonderful stone to carve and it works so well with the soft smooth flowing curves that this piece has. This beautiful morganite has a light pink blush of colour and it is a very bright stone. This piece would make a stunning pendant and would really suit a creative design. This was a fun piece to carve and I really enjoyed the process of taking it from a rough stone to a lovely, highly polished and organically styled carving.

This is one incredible peach morganite from Mozambique. It is a superb stone in every regard, the colour is vivid and quite simply divine, the quality of the cut and polish is first rate – it was done by one of our master gemcutters here in Sydney. Comments : Here is an impressively sized morganite. In the hand, the morganite is more peach then it appears in the pics. The camera had a hard time capturing the colour of this gem. It is quite a bright gem, the colour is intense and has a good solid feel.

Comments : This wonderful gem is a nice bright lemon greenish yellow heliodor from Nigeria. I have faceted this gem in one of my favorite oval designs, the Supernova. It is a very good design and suits this heliodor well. The colour of the gem in real life is a little more yellow then the pictures suggest. It is clean except for a few very fine silver needles which again in real life are hard to spot. I really like this gem, the colour and the design all combine to create a truly beautiful heliodor gemstone.

Comments : Here is an outstanding pink morganite which I have precision cut and polished in my Signature Cushion design. The colour is a really beautiful pink and a very good saturation for morganite as this material can often be fairly pale. This gem has several very fine silvery needles which you can see in the pics. In the hand these are quite fine, the camera has a way of making these needles stand out more then they actually do. Cameras take a 3D object and flatten it into 2D. I have included some hand shots so you can get an idea of size... it is a big gem and would make the ultimate cocktail ring! At night time under lights is simply takes the breath away. I highly recommend this morganite gemstone.

Comments : A radiant golden beryl finished in my favorite barion pear design, the Utopia Pear... what a combination! This is a very fine gemstone and the combination just works beautifully. I love golden beryl for its bright and sunny personality and the Utopia Pear adds a very refined elegance to the affair. A great gem to make a spectacular ring which would be dynamite at any occasion, very stylish and special. The stone has a couple of very small speck like inclusions that are common to golden beryl but other then that, its a glorious stone.

I've also included a few action shots of the golden beryl being faceted and polished. It is a great pleasure to be able to work with such beautiful gemstones.

Comments : This big beauty was faceted from a decent sized slice of golden beryl. It was relatively thin for its length and width so I thought I'd do a bit of freestyling for something different. It turned out very nicely and would be perfect for a pendant if you like big stones. It does have some veiling but not as bad as the pics suggest.

Comments : This is a beautiful and very sunny golden beryl. It is cut in the classic Asscher Cut design and is an exceptional gemstone in all respects. It has a very bright and happy aspect, a really nice gem that has great action and performance, the internal facet patterns making a very lively gem that is full of life.

It is a big stone and would make the ulimate cocktail ring, so if you like your gemstones big this is the one for you. There is a small feather veil inclusion in one corner of the pavilion about half way down but it does not detract from the overall appearance of the stone at all, it is very hard to spot. The colour is far better in person then the pics suggest, the camera can only do so much when it comes to capturing the myriad colours in a stunning gem. It is a gem that I am very happy with and one that I know you will be too. A truly wonderful golden beryl gemstone.

Comments : This classic Egyptian asscher cut yellow beryl is a very lovely gemstone indeed. It is the same family that aquamarine and emeralds belong to. Unfortunately I have a hard time photographing yellow... its a devilishly tricky colour to capture... that and pale pink! The pictures look a bit on the dark side and seem to be a bit more golden/brownish then they should be. In person the stone is much more light lemony yellow and brilliant and doesn't have the darker golden browns. I think it picks up these tones from the camera lens... its literally only an inch or two away from the stone and the black of the lens gets picked up in the facet reflections... well, thats my theory anyway. It really is a great stone, light and airy.
