Ordering Information, Terms and Conditions
To Order or for Price Enquiry
To order a gem or to enquire about a price please contact me and let me know what you are interested in. I do not have shopping cart functionality on my website.
Please advise at the time whether you are in Australia or an international customer so that postage rates can be determined. Australian customers are also subject to 10% GST.
If you are a jeweller or a member of the jewellery trade then please advise me of such. I will require verification in the form of a website, Instagram page, trade references or similar.
Payment Terms and Conditions
For international customers I use PayPal or Wire Transfer for payment transactions. All exchange rates will be handled and determined at the time of transaction by the financial institutions involved.
For Australian customers I use PayPal or Direct Deposit.
All pricing shown is in Australian Dollars (AUD) EX GST. Australian customers are subject to 10% GST, International customers are not.
All gemstones and custom orders must be fully paid before they are sent.
All gemstones are sent registered with tracking and signature on delivery via Australia Post.
Standard postal insurance applies and any claims will need to be made via the appropriate procedures. Please note that Bespoke Gems is NOT liable or responsible for any items that are lost or damaged in the mail.
Final postage costs will be advised when order is placed and is dependant on destination.
Delivery times are usually 3-5 business days, for international it can be up to 2 weeks.
Please note that for consultations, appointments and assessments of gems or rough materials fees may apply and are payable on the day by cash, cheque, credit card or EFTPOS. Fees may be waived if having work done or making a purchase.
Jewellers and Jewellery Trade
UNLESS prior arrangements have been made, jobs and work done require full payment before jobs are sent or upon pick if you are coming into the office.
All other jobs, purchases or consignments are subject to STRICTLY SEVEN (7) DAY payment terms.
I do NOT do 30 day payment terms, sorry.
For jewellers and members of the jewellery trade, I strongly suggest you supply your own self-addressed Australia Post return satchel as Bespoke Gems is NOT liable or responsible for any items that are lost or damaged in the mail.
Layby (Layaway) and Reserving a Stone
Yes, I do layby (or layaway as it is known elsewhere) and stones can be reserved. Contact me for more details.
Return Policy
FOR ONLINE PURCHASES ONLY
If you are not happy with the item once you receive it, you can return it within 7 DAYS no questions asked for a refund (less postage and shipping) or a credit note towards future purchases provided that the item is in original condition. If you have damaged the stone in anyway, such as chipping a corner off or have scratched it, then no deal - the stone is yours! This 7 day period is for online purchases only and allows you to view the stone in the hand.
If you are returning a stone, please inform me so that I know to expect it and that you have the correct return address. Gemstones must be returned in the original packaging and must be sent registered. Bespoke Gems is NOT liable or responsible for any items that are lost or damaged in the mail if you are returning an item. The person returning the item is fully responsible for it whilst it is in transit up until it is signed for by myself. If an item is lost in the mail then no refund is possible so I recommend that you use a method that has tracking and signature on delivery. The person returning the item is responsible for return postage and shipping costs.

Items may only be returned for a credit note towards future purchases at our discretion. Refunds are not given as it is understood that by purchasing the item in-store you will have had ample opportunity to ask any questions, inspect and assess the item (ie. gemstone) in the hand prior to purchasing it.

With all my stones, I try my best to describe any faults or inclusions that may be present as well as any treatments or enhancements that may have been done to the stone. I try my best to represent the gemstones in the pictures as accurately as possible to real life. If a particular stone interests you, please feel free to contact me and ask for more information or pictures. I am very happy to assist you with this.
